Our Planning services include public outreach, evaluating socioeconomic conditions, and assessing impacts to communities; thereby helping our clients to avoid disproportionate impacts to environmental justice populations. We specialize in many aspects of transportation and community planning, including:
We provided environmental services, including NEPA documentation, required to obtain Federal and state environmental approvals to replace a bridge that was a major contributing element to the Dickeyville Historic District in Baltimore, MD.
We conducted the environmental justice analysis and supported the overall community effects study for the highly controversial Intercounty Connector project, which passes through several established residential communities as well as stream valleys that contain sensitive wetland and forest habitat.
We are currently providing both environmental justice and cultural resource analyses for the Maryland Transit Administration to support their efforts to build a new transit line connecting downtown Baltimore to its western suburbs. ^ Top |
